Laura Ingle: Joining me now is Jeffrey Grant founder of Schedule F Health Strategies. Jeffrey thank you so much for joining us. What an interesting time, right?

Jeff Grant: It is definitely an interesting time.

Laura Ingle: Right, interesting. How is the recent news of reinstating fire workers brought any relief? Tell tell us about it.

Jeff Grant: I think it is good news that the suit continues to move forward, that it continues to make progress. While I’m trying to help people find jobs outside of government if they need to. They rightfully deserve the jobs they had, and they were fired under inappropriate pretenses they acted as though they failed at their jobs. None of them had failed in their jobs. None of them have poor performance. So at a minimum that needs to be removed from all of their records. But rightfully they should be back in their jobs and then the government should go about a proper process of assessing what everybody does and what is needed to move the program forward.

Laura Ingle: At Schedule F you showcase superior candidates and have used the current government downsizing as really, an opportunity. So has it been difficult finding work for all of these federal employees? I mean, there’s a lot of them have they found jobs through the company? Tell us more.

Jeff Grant: We’re in the early phases, so we started March 1st and we’ve collected about 80 to 90 resumes right now of former CMS people that wanted assistance finding jobs. We have had some successes people are getting job offers. It’s a lot of people to try to place, it’s kind of a glutted market because all of HHS had somewhere near 4,000 cuts. So there’s a lot of people in the health care field right now looking for work, which makes it really challenging to place people, but I have been doing this for a long time, I have a lot of connections and I’m trying to just work work the room as it were to try to find places for folks.
